After you driving thru a 2800m path with Yi villages around, you get to a warm micro climat below lijiang at 2000m. Endemic male/female banana trees are grown by the Naxi villages.
The view on the Great Chinese river 700m under is impressive. During spring you are lucky to see huge blooming rhodhodendrons and wild camelias !!!
